Elfkullen - the small mansion in urban Sunne, short introduction
The house was built in 1851 for the Bergmans, and has looked more or less the same since 1909 - overlooking the town of Sunne! There has been many owners over the Years, most famous is probably the Gustaf Mauritz Ulrik Rüdebäck - the mayor of Värmland, local judge and member of the Swedish Parlament 1881 - 1909.
After then the Östlund family owned Elfkullen for 60 Years - artists and business people has been working and living here, until the house got renovated by the Lindqvists 2007 - 12. They have done a fantastic job, and most of the décor inside is their doing!
Since Easter 2017 we have converted the former family home into a holiday house - and now we can offer 10 rooms self catering (or B&B) for groups/families/companies for vacation in beautiful Värmland, or as a venue for meetings/conferences or weddings/celebrations.
